Gas Cap

I have a 99 honda accord and needs gas cap replace, any will do or have to be honda special?

i have a problem with my engine check light on forever and have it checked out, the code read P1457 manufacturer control auxiliary emission control problem. they think i need to replace my gas cap any will do or have to be honda specialty? what do u think is my car's problem?

You can purchase a third party gas cap for your Honda at most major auto parts stores. I bought a locking cap during the worst of the price gouging for less than $10.

Most modern caps are now standard thread. It's the vent valve that makes the difference. But you don't need to buy it from Honda.
